Small Animals Bowen Therapy
Driven by the desire to help my dogs cope with arthritis and old age, I tried to find a massage therapist for my dogs. This lead me to drive over an hour to meet a very remarkable man, who was 90 years old at the time (and going to have a hip operation the next week), to treat my dogs. I was inspired (and wondering how much longer this wonderful man could keep going), to try and find a way to help her four legged friends and that;s when I discovered Smart Bowen therapy for small animals. This required me to travel (again over an hour away), to study the training over several months, but found the rewards and benefits of the treatment and the improvement of my animals remarkable. My two dogs would try and push each other out of the way to get more Bowen procedures while the other dog was being treated. I observing when the animal I am treating ‘chills out’ and start to relax (one of the benefits of the Bowen treatment), as then I can see just how much the dog is enjoying their treatment.
